Isn’t the Queen wearing that Bulova white gold watch we used to have? We haven’t seen her Majesty. She was out when our tour bus drove by the palace the other day. Arrived on Wednesday after a cramped flight. Have packed in a lot – Harrods where Joe had me copy down a recipe as displayed in one of the food halls, Tower of London and today Portobello Road (I can’t read that).
The weather has been marvelous. I can’t believe that we are going everywhere everyday and evening bare armed – Joe finds the coffee and tea too strong and was not delighted with the steak and kidney pie. However there are a lot of foods to choose from. We are walking so much we can afford to eat. Joe weight 13 stone today!!
