Dear Bill,

We just finished our 72-day wonder! Came through really fabulous countryside yesterday, but the driving took us all day to go the 100 miles! The local busses which we had to transfer to because of the narrow, winding mountain roads were not the most comfortable, but the drivers were super. Please thank your parents for the newsy letters here. Will write them later.
