In the coming weeks while I finish posting these postcards I am also working on typing up Grandpa Charlie's letters to Grandma Sibyl. The letters are long and sweet, and take a while to type up, so I'll be posting one or two a week.
If anyone has postcards/letters/cards/etc that they kept and would like to share with the group, you are more than welcome to scan and email them to me, or mail me the originals, and I'll return them to you. I discovered a big stack of my mom's postcards in an old scrapbook that was falling apart. She wanted to toss them, but I kept them (like the pack-rat I am) and they have spent the last few years gathering dust in a box with photos I haven't scanned yet.
